Mantle’s Mission

It all started when…

I began to plan my own wedding. I decided that I was going to learn everything I could about floral design before the big day and I was going to create my own bouquets and centerpieces.

I definitely had some much needed help from dear friends and family, but ultimately we achieved the look I was striving for and it sparked an idea and a business.

It was around the same time that my husband, Jarrett, and I bought our first home. I’ve always been obsessed with homes, especially old ones, but my interest in architecture, history, and interior design grew and grew; soon we were taking on big renovation projects of our own.

We renovated our first home,a1903 Victorian, from top to bottom and since then we’ve completely gutted and renovated our cottage in Fish Creek which functions as a highly successful Airbnb. Currently we are renovating our home in Green Bay, a Prairie Style house built in 1914.

I have over 20 years of service industry experience and through that I’ve learned so much about hospitality and customer service. I am truly passionate about taking care of people.

Becoming an Airbnb host has allowed me to marry my passion for design and my service industry chops. In the process I get to find joy and fulfillment in taking good care of guests and making sure their experience is sweet and memorable. We are in the process of buying more properties in need of love, and design, and we hope to offer those as rentals to guests in the future. We rejoice in taking on the mantle of hospitality!

Hospitality can mean many things, but fundamentally it means this: the friendly and generous reception and entertainment of guests, visitors, or strangers.

Mantle's mission is to curate beautiful and functional living for its clients, whether it be in their own homes or by providing a respite in a home away from home. I relish organizing and styling events, designing rooms and of course creating beautiful floral arrangements. All of this adds up to taking care of people and creating beauty and smart design wherever I can, simply put, Mantle is here to help!
